GLENVILLE, N.Y. (AP) - Police say a decomposed body has been discovered along a tributary stream of the Mohawk River in the Schenectady County town of Glenville.

Town Police Chief Michael Ranalli tells local media a surveyor reported finding the body in a culvert beneath Freemans Bridge Road. It was covered with silt.

Police say the body was too decomposed to determine the gender. State police are investigating.
