NEW YORK (AP) - New York Hospital Queens is launching a breast cancer support group aimed at the borough’s growing Chinese population.

The Chinese-language support group is set to launch on Nov. 21.

The hospital’s chief of breast surgery tells the Daily News (https://nydn.us/1sj4UUw ) the group will address issues common in women with breast cancer but also other cultural issues that apply to the Chinese-American population.

Chinese now make up about 30 percent of the hospital’s patients.
