LANSING, Mich. (AP) - The Michigan Department of Natural Resources is offering 11 state-owned properties for sale in seven counties.

Properties range in size from about 1 acre to 80 acres and are located in Alpena, Cheboygan, Clare, Isabella, Midland, Montmorency and Presque Isle counties. The auction includes properties that were listed on the DNR calendar for approval in 2014.

The sealed-bid, online auction runs through Dec. 2.

The DNR says most of the properties were acquired by tax reversion and don’t meet the department’s current recreation and resource management goals. The minimum bid price is expected to range from $3,000 to more than $150,000. Auction details are posted online.
