BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - A North Dakota man says he will plead guilty to covering up evidence in a death investigation.

Ben LeDoux, of Rugby, is charged with altering, destroying, or concealing a tangible object in a federal investigation. The charge carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison.

Authorities say LeDoux obstructed police by altering a mop head.

A federal public defender was not available for comment.
