GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) - Green Bay police have finished searching a Portage County site in connection with the 1998 disappearance of college student Amber Wilde.

Investigators spent Wednesday searching 30 acres west of Waupaca that also were searched in 2000.

WLUK-TV (https://bit.ly/1z3RGzB) reports police issued a statement Thursday, saying the search has concluded and no further information would be released.

Wilde was 19, pregnant and a student at University of Wisconsin-Green Bay when she disappeared in September 1998. Her car was later found outside a bar near Lambeau Field, but she has not been seen.

Detectives say that while her disappearance is officially a missing person case, they hold little hope she is still alive.
