ARLINGTON, Wash. (AP) - The rising Stillaguamish River inundated a homeless camp early Tuesday near Arlington, leaving a man stranded in the water.

The Daily Herald reports (https://bit.ly/1y9yoI1) rescuers with the Arlington Rural fire department and the Stillaguamish Swift Water Rescue Team navigated a hovercraft around floating tree trunks and other debris to reach the man in a flooded grove.

He was picked up and treated for hypothermia.
