JACKSON, Wyo. (AP) - The State Canvassing Board will meet next Wednesday to determine what to do after Teton County election officials left one question off the general election ballot.

According to the Jackson Hole News & Guide (https://tinyurl.com/pkz65sk ), voters should have weighed in on whether to retain 9th Circuit Judge Wesley Roberts, who presides over the Fremont County court in Riverton.

The 9th Judicial District encompasses Teton, Fremont and Sublette counties. That means voters from all three should have voted on whether to keep Roberts on the bench.

A retention vote is a yes or no question that comes up at regular intervals for each judge. If enough voters opt for no votes, the judge loses his position.

A circuit court judge manages misdemeanor criminal cases and low-dollar civil cases.
