DETROIT (AP) - Congressman Mike Rogers of Michigan plans to start his new radio show on Jan. 5.

The ex-FBI agent and outgoing House Intelligence Committee chairman says in a statement Thursday that the show called “Something to Talk About” will include humorous, compelling and moving stories about issues including national security.

The Republican didn’t seek re-election and earlier announced the plans to shift from Capitol Hill, his workplace for 14 years, to a studio. Plans call for Rogers to appear on Cumulus radio stations nationwide with syndication through Westwood One.
