WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (AP) - With 1.5 million visitors, a few people are bound to lose something at the Eastern States Exposition.

But of the 586 items still at the Big E’s lost and found, perhaps the most curious is a medal of St. Anthony, the patron saint of lost and stolen articles.

Big E officials tell The Republican newspaper (https://bit.ly/1oywHyL ) of Springfield that they have 200 pairs of glasses, dozens of cellphones, keys, backpacks and even a medical alert button.

They have a bag full of jewelry, and a wardrobe’s worth of clothes, including hats and several children’s shoes.

The Big E in West Springfield also has 80 lost driver’s licenses, which are easy enough to return.

Anyone who thinks they lost something at the 17-day fair last month should contact staff.
