ASTOR, Fla. (AP) - The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for sections along the St. Johns River in central Florida.

The weather service issued the warning this week after days of heavy rainfall in central and northeast Florida.

The Property Appraiser’s Office says flooding in Volusia County last week caused $3.6 million in damage to 126 properties.

In Flagler County, flooding has damaged more than 50 homes.
