BRATTLEBORO, Vt. (AP) - A Vermont hospital is partnering on a solar project that will generate some of its power.

Brattleboro Memorial Hospital has agreed to buy all electricity generated from the project with Winstanley Solar Development.

The Brattleboro Reformer reports (https://bit.ly/1bI41RH) the 500-kilowatt solar array will be built on land Winstanley Enterprises is developing in North Springfield.

Winstanley Enterprises also is working with Green Lantern Development of Waterbury and Powersmith Farm, Inc. of Guilford to develop up to five solar arrays for schools, municipalities and hospitals in Windham and Windsor counties.
