CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - Firefighters have recovered the body of a man from the Elk River in Charleston.

Media outlets report that the body was discovered Wednesday morning near the Washington Street bridge.

Charleston police say relatives identified the man as 56-year-old Ronald Belcher of Charleston. Police say they don’t suspect foul play.
