PORT ORANGE, Fla. (AP) - A central Florida man is accused of punching an 80-year-old man who asked him to stop cursing and talking about women’s private parts at a restaurant bar.

The Daytona Beach News-Journal (https://bit.ly/1mPlz4I ) the man was having dinner at Applebee’s in Port Orange on Sunday night when he heard 26-year-old Mikie Sawyer repeatedly using expletives.

According to police, the man leaned in close to Sawyer and told him “in my Germany, you don’t speak in such a manner.” Sawyer said he didn’t care and told the man to go to the other side of the bar. When the man didn’t move, Sawyer punched him in the face and pushed him backward, knocking him down.

Sawyer was arrested and released on bail. It is not known whether he has an attorney.
