SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (AP) - Police in Scottsdale say a woman is accused of biting and kicking her young daughters on multiple occasions.

Nicole Breault-Pequeno was arrested Monday on suspicion of child neglect and cocaine possession and is being held on $15,000 bond.

It’s unclear if the 30-year-old woman has a lawyer yet.

Police say they were called about a disturbance at an apartment complex.

Officers reported finding Breault-Pequeno intoxicated and knocking on different apartment doors.

They say she was crying and yelling for her daughter to let her inside.

Police determined that she left her 6-year-old and 10-year-old daughters alone the night before.

Authorities say there were numerous bruises on both children and the 10-year-old girl had a bite mark on her right leg and left arm.

Police say Breault-Pequeno denies abusing her children.
