FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) - Authorities say a pickup driver was killed after losing control of his vehicle and crashing into a Fort Worth home. A woman in the home suffered minor injuries.

The Fort Worth Star-Telegram (https://bit.ly/1sn52a1 ) reports that the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office identified the victim as 36-year-old Jose Pena of Fort Worth. He was pronounced dead at the scene early Friday morning.

Authorities say that when the driver lost control of his truck, he took out a street sign and a fence and then rolled into the home. The motorist was ejected during the crash.

Police Sgt. Steve Enright says a couple and three children were in the home at the time of the crash. Officials say a woman in the home was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
