TITUSVILLE, Fla. (AP) - A fisherman who was putting his canoe in the water found the partially submerged body of a woman in the Indian River.

The discovery was made Thursday afternoon in Titusville and Brevard County Sheriff’s investigators worked late into the evening gathering evidence.

WKMG (https://bit.ly/1thhc5A ) reports an autopsy is scheduled for Friday.

Deputies say they don’t believe the victim was a homeless person. They’ve looked through missing persons reports, but had not made a match by Thursday night.
