LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) - The campaign manager and two other employees have resigned from the staff of Elisabeth Jensen, a Democrat who is running against Republican U.S. Rep. Andy Barr in Kentucky’s 6th Congressional District race.

Jensen campaign consultant Carol Andrews told the Lexington Herald-Leader (https://bit.ly/1yiwB6X ) there was no shakeup, “just a difference of opinion” and that the departure was friendly.

Former campaign manager Allan Rivlin of Washington, D.C., didn’t return a call from the newspaper. The others who left Thursday are finance director Melanie McCormick and field and political director Gracey Wise.

The general election is Nov. 4.

Andrews said no one has been named to replace Rivlin. She said four paid campaign staffers remain.
