FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) - Authorities are searching for a suspect after a seventh woman was assaulted in the Fort Collins area.

Larimer County Sheriff’s Office spokesman David Moore says the latest attack involved a woman who was physically assaulted while riding her bicycle north of Fort Collins Wednesday evening.

Moore said the woman was seriously injured. She was not identified.

Authorities say the assault is thought to be related to six others on women in the area over the past six weeks. Their injuries and conditions were not available.

The seven incidents occurred between 7 p.m. and midnight.
