MARTIN, Tenn. (AP) - Abou Toure ran for 128 yards and a touchdown and Tennessee-Martin beat Tennessee Tech 17-10 on Thursday night in a game delayed by lightning for more than 2 hours in the fourth quarter.

Jarod Neal was 15 of 20 for 126 yards and ran for 73 yards and a touchdown for the Skyhawks (2-5, 1-3 Ohio Valley).

The Skyhawks took a 14-3 lead on Neal’s 35-yard run with 58 seconds left in the third quarter, and Jackson Redditt make it 17-3 with a 23-yard field goal with 6:20 left in the fourth.

After the long delay, Tennessee Tech (3-4, 1-2) cut it to 17-10 on Ladarius Vanlier’s 2-yard run with 4 minutes left.

The Skyhawks opened the scoring on Toure’s 2-yard run in the first quarter, and Tennessee Tech’s John Arnold made a 49-yard field goal in the second.

Darian Stone was 10 of 22 for 149 yards for the Golden Eagles. Brock McCoin had five catches for 85 yards.
