BOSTON (AP) - Candidates for Massachusetts governor are hitting the campaign trail with the clock ticking down to the Nov. 4 election.

Democrat Martha Coakley begins Saturday morning canvassing with supporters in Lynn before heading to the Topsfield voters to greet voters.

In the afternoon, Coakley plans to shake hands with voters outside a Market Basket in Haverhill before ending the day meeting voters near the Waltham Democratic Coordinated Campaign Office.

Republican Charlie Baker will meet with voters at the Cranberry Harvest Celebration in Wareham Saturday morning.

Later Saturday, Baker plans to join former Worcester City Manager Michael O’Brien to greet voters outside the Worcester Polytechnic Institute homecoming football game.

Independent candidate Evan Falchuk will be campaigning Saturday in Worcester.

Independent candidates Scott Lively and Jeff McCormick are also running for governor.
