YUMA, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities in Yuma are investigating the fatal crash of a pickup truck that ended up barreling into a home.

The Yuma Sun reports (https://bit.ly/1nhgt1y) that police say the vehicle crashed into the house just after 1 p.m. Thursday and caught fire.

Sgt. Leanne Worthen says the pickup truck was found burning and sticking out of a gaping hole in the back of the home.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

One person was inside the home at the time but was taken out safely.

Worthen says the truck left the road and went into a cinderblock fence with enough force to continue into the house.

Investigators have not released the identity of the driver.
