SEATTLE (AP) - Seattle police say one man was killed and two others injured in a gunfight early Saturday.

Officers on foot and bike patrols reported hearing the shots at about 1:45 a.m. and arrived at the scene in the city’s Belltown neighborhood within about 15 seconds.

They found an armed 20-year-old man who had been shot and killed. He was surrounded by shell casings.

Two other men, ages 19 and 32, were shot and taken to Harborview Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. Police said it wasn’t clear if they were involved in the shooting.

Police said they arrested a 21-year-old man who was brandishing a gun in public. They said he was believed to be a friend of the man who was killed, looking for revenge. He was booked into King County Jail for investigation of possessing a stolen firearm.
