BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - Events in Bismarck and Fargo are giving people and small businesses an opportunity to shred personal and sensitive documents.

The Saturday shredding events are sponsored by the Better Business Bureau of Minnesota and North Dakota, and AARP North Dakota. They’re from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Wells Fargo offices.

People and businesses can shred and properly dispose of up to two boxes of documents and CDs free of charge. It’s part of Secure Your ID Day, aimed at raising awareness of identity theft.
