CLAYMONT, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police are investigating the armed robbery of a gas station in Claymont.

Police say a man walked into a Gulf gas station on Naamans Road at around 9:15 p.m. on Saturday and brought a number of items to the cashier. While the clerk was ringing up the items, police say the suspect grabbed an unknown amount of cash from the register. Police say the man then displayed a knife and demanded more money. The cashier refused to give the suspect more cash, and the man fled from the store.

Police say the suspect is between the ages of 50 and 60 and was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt and black pants.
