DENVER (AP) - A fire overnight has shut down the landmark Denver Diner and left two firefighters with minor injuries.

Denver fire crews were called to the restaurant located at Speer and Colfax around 1:30 a.m on Sunday.

Fire officials believe the fire started in the kitchen, but the exact cause of the fire is unknown.

The restaurant has damage to the kitchen and roof. It took fire crews about 20 minutes to get control of the fire.
