HAVRE, Mont. (AP) - A Montana State University-Northern administrator is seeking $250,000 in damages in his sexual harassment complaint.

Extended Studies Dean Randy Bachmeier’s complaint says former Provost Rosalyn Templeton touched him in an inappropriate manner over the course of three years.

The Havre Daily News reports (https://bit.ly/ZzyOfj ) that the economic damages sought are based on Bachmeier’s allegation that he will not be able to be promoted at the university because of the situation.

Templeton has denied the accusations, and MSU-Northern contends Bachmeier was not harassed and has not suffered any adverse employment action.

The case is before a hearing officer who is expected to make a decision later this year.
