LANSING, Mich. (AP) - Michigan businesses can learn about export opportunities at five events taking place this coming week across the Lower Peninsula.

The Michigan Economic Development Corp. is presenting Global Trade Days events Monday through Friday in Grand Rapids, Novi, Troy and the Saginaw and Traverse City areas. Attendees will hear about opportunities and trends in top export markets, export assistance programs and upcoming Michigan trade missions.

The Global Trade Days events will include presentations from specialists who focus on Canada, Mexico, China, Brazil and the United Arab Emirates. Officials say those nations are among the state’s top export markets.

The cost to attend the events in Grand Rapids, Troy and the Saginaw and Traverse City areas is $30. The event Friday in Novi is free.
