LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - Lakes in Seward and Broken Bow have been added to the sites that will host trout family fishing events in October.

The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission says the events will help teach families and inexperienced anglers about fishing.

Each body of water will be stocked with catchable-sized trout before the events. Loaner equipment, bait and fishing instruction is also available.

The Trout Family Fishing events will begin Oct. 19 and run on various days through Oct. 30.

Permits can be purchased at www.OutdoorNebraska.org .
