SOUTH ROYALTON, Vermont (AP) - The Vermont Journal of Environmental Law is hosting a daylong event in which environmental and legal experts will discuss what to do with the world’s garbage.

The event is called “Cradle to Cradle: The Elimination of Waste” and it will take place Oct. 24 at Chase Community Center on the Vermont Law School campus in South Royalton.

The symposium will focus on energy, oceans, electronics, food and agriculture. Panelists will include Scudder Parker of Vermont Energy Investment Corporation, Adam Kron of Environmental Integrity Project and Hillary Hoffman of Vermont Law School.

The event is open to the public.
