EVERETT, Wash. (AP) - The Metrie company plans to close a wood molding manufacturing plant at Monroe and move its operations to a plant in Calgary, Alberta.

More than 50 workers will lose their jobs at the plant in Monroe, formerly known as Moulding & Millwork.

Vancouver, British Columbia, based Metrie told The Daily Herald (https://bit.ly/1EPixU5 ) it will continue to operate plants at Ferndale and Sumner, Washington, that employ 135 people.
