CINCINNATI (AP) - Police say a mother and daughter were killed when they were hit by a car while out for a walk in suburban Cincinnati.

It happened at around 7 p.m. Sunday in Colerain Township.

Police have identified the mother and daughter as 29-year-old Jessica Lutz and 65-year-old Patricia Lutz. A Colerain Township spokesman says the women were walking with the direction of traffic and were hit from behind. They were pronounced dead at the scene.

Charges are being considered against the driver. Police say they don’t suspect alcohol or drugs were involved in the crash.
