FORT BENTON, Mont. (AP) - A Billings man has pleaded guilty to deliberate homicide in the stabbing death of another man during a fight at a Fort Benton bar.

The Great Falls Tribune reports (https://gftrib.com/1trl6c3 ) 26-year-old Casey Lee Carlos entered his plea Tuesday in District Court for the January 2013 death of 21-year-old Fletcher Courtnage-McKinsey.

Carlos’ case had been set for trial this week in Fort Benton.

Prosecutors allege Carlos stabbed Courtnage-McKinsey in the side as Courtnage-McKinsey was fighting with another man at the Pastime Bar. Courtnage-McKinsey died at a Great Falls hospital.

Carlos’ sentencing is set for Dec. 17.
