ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE, Minn. (AP) - Authorities have identified the man who was shot and killed by police in a Minnesota trailer park last week.

The Hennepin County medical examiner’s office says 51-year-old William Thomas Holt of Ellaville, Georgia, died of multiple gunshot wounds.

The St. Paul Pioneer Press (https://bit.ly/1z8WG9I ) reports Holt was shot outside his trailer at a mobile home park in St. Anthony Village on Thursday night.

Someone inside the park called police to report gunfire inside a trailer. When officers arrived, a man inside the trailer yelled that he was being held at gunpoint by another person.

After a standoff with a SWAT team, Holt emerged from the trailer with a shotgun and ran toward the officers.

Three Roseville police officers fired their guns. No one else was found inside the trailer.
