NEW YORK (AP) - The NYPD says it’s looking for four men who attacked a man wearing women’s clothing on a Brooklyn street.

According to the Daily News ( ) police say the suspects yelled anti-gay slurs as they knocked the victim to the ground and kicked him.

The man was hospitalized in critical condition after the attack late Sunday in Bushwick.

Police are investigating the incident as a hate crime.
