EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) - Downtown East Lansing is getting six bike racks that were created with an artistic flair.

The Lansing State Journal reports (https://on.lsj.com/1vuY18q ) the racks will be on display Wednesday for an event before they are installed.

In a statement, the city says the racks were made possible in part by a $10,000 LEAP Public Art for Communities grant. In addition, the Downtown Development Authority contributed $4,000 for the project and the Arts Commission contributed $6,000.
