SANTA FE, N.M. (AP) - Authorities say two men are in custody in connection with a bank robbery in Clovis.

The FBI says US Bank branches were robbed Tuesday in Clovis and Santa Fe.

Clovis police say 25-year-old Matthew Gonzales is being held on suspicion of armed robbery, aggravated assault with intent to commit a violent felony, conspiracy to commit armed robbery and tampering with evidence.

They say 59-year-old Richard Little is being held on suspicion of being an accessory to armed robbery, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, tampering with evidence and receiving stolen property.

Police received a tip in the case and went to Little’s home where they say several hundred dollars of marked money was found.

They say Gonzales was stopped on a Clovis street and allegedly admitted to the Tuesday morning robbery.
