BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - Investigators say a barn fire in Erie that destroyed about 70 cars - many of them classic - and caused more than $5 million in damage was likely caused by a gas leak.

The fire was reported the morning of Oct. 8 after a tenant on the property heard an explosion and ran outside of the garage to see a nearby mobile home in flames. The fire quickly spread to the barn, which was being used to store dozens of cars, including about 39 vintage vehicles.

The Daily Camera reports (https://bit.ly/1w9doAi ) about 70 cars were destroyed and eight were saved.
