ROLLIN TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - A northwestern Ohio investor group plans to reopen and redevelop a once popular but now shuttered southeastern Michigan marina.

The Blade of Toledo reports (https://bit.ly/1u6sZ15 ) Wednesday that four men from Sylvania, Ohio, bought the former Sun & Snow Marina on Devils Lake in northwestern Lenawee County’s Rollin Township. They closed last week on the roughly five-acre property and say the total project could cost as much as $4 million.

Devils Lake Ventures LLC aims to reopen a gas station, retail shop and boat storage, sales and service facilities, as well as develop a waterfront restaurant. The company hopes to have some parts ready by spring.

The investors include Alan Tarschis, who owns a cottage on the lake in the Irish Hills area. He retired after owning Toledo-area auto parts stores.
