ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - If voters approve the legalization of medical marijuana next month, officials in metro Orlando are making sure treatment centers stay clear of the area’s tourist district.

Orange County staffers on Tuesday unveiled a proposed map of where the medical marijuana treatment facilities would be allowed if voters approve the state constitutional amendment legalizing them.

The International Drive tourist corridor would be off limits.

Under the plan, 4,500 acres, or 1,100 parcels would be available in Orange County.

The proposed parcels are in areas with large numbers of warehouses and light industry
