PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - A Central Falls man has pleaded guilty to fatally stabbing two men and fleeing in a stolen car.

The Providence Journal reported (https://bit.ly/1yCPKR7 ) that Pedro Lopez entered his pleas on Tuesday to killing 21-year-old Malcolm Townes and 22-year-old Nathan Lewis. He also pleaded guilty to possession of a stolen car and received an additional 10 years in prison for being a habitual offender.

The 20-year-old Lopez must serve at least 23 years and 4 months in prison before he is eligible for parole.

Prosecutors said that on the night of June 27, 2013, Lopez got into an argument with Townes and Lewis. The following morning, he fatally stabbed the two men.

Their bodies were discovered on July 3.

Lopez did not address the court at sentencing
