MILAN (AP) - Italy’s Serie A has announced three offers for its foreign TV rights for the next three seasons, from MP & Silva, IMG and B4 Capital.

Officials are hoping to improve upon the average annual fee of 117 million euros (nearly $150 million) for the previous deal.

Still, Serie A is not expected to take in anything close to the more than 800 million euros ($1 billion) that the English Premier League makes from foreign rights per season. However, it could close in on Spain’s estimated 177 million euro ($225 million) deal.

Serie A makes most of its money from domestic TV rights, earning 857 million euros (more than $1 billion) per season.

The winner will be selected at a league assembly Monday and will hold the rights worldwide outside Italy.
