HASTINGS, Minn. (AP) - Dakota County authorities have arrested a woman who they say led them on a high-speed chase through yards in a residential neighborhood.

WCCO-TV reports (https://cbsloc.al/1sKMMrj ) the 32-year-old Hastings woman faces a felony charge of fleeing an officer. Authorities say a sheriff’s deputy tried to pull her over early Sunday near Hastings after she drove suspiciously near a vandalized business.

Deputies say she sped away and turned off her headlights. They say she ran a stop light going 70 mph in an area with a 30 mph limit and drove from one cul-de-sac to another through multiple yards.

Authorities say she hit an officer’s car but kept going before hitting a tree. Deputies trapped her with their cars and arrested her.

She faces up to three years in prison if convicted.
