BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities are at the scene of a standoff at the northwestern Arizona home of a young girl who was killed last month.

Bullhead City police say they were conducting a drug investigation Wednesday afternoon and trying to serve a search warrant when the standoff began.

KTNV-TV says a SWAT team was called when a man refused to come out of the house.

Police say no other details would be released until the incident is concluded, but it isn’t related to the murder investigation involving 8-year-old Isabella Grogan-Cannella.

The girl’s body was found in a shallow grave on Sept. 3, a day after she was reported missing from her home.

A 26-year-old family friend has pleaded not guilty to charges of first-degree murder, kidnapping, child abuse and abandonment of a body.
