NEW CASTLE, Colo. (AP) - Crews have begun installing three pedestrian and bicycle bridges that will cross the Colorado River, Interstate 70 and Union Pacific Railroad tracks at New Castle.

The Glenwood Springs Post Independent reports (https://tinyurl.com/kgok8nb ) cranes placed the first span over the railroad tracks on Tuesday.

The bridge over I-70 is scheduled to be installed Thursday and the last one will be lowered into place over the river next week.
