WOODSTOCK, N.Y. (AP) - The 15th annual Woodstock Film Festival is being held this week.

The festival being held in and around the famed Hudson Valley arts colony runs Wednesday through Sunday. Organizers say they will screen more than 125 films.

Film maker Darren Aronofsky will be presented Saturday with the festival’s annual Maverick Award. Aronofsky’s directing credits include “Noah” and “Black Swan.” The award will be presented by actresses Natalie Portman and Jennifer Connelly.

Festival events take place in Woodstock and nearby Rhinebeck, Rosendale, Saugerties and Kingston.
