TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) - Three Phoenix men and a teenager are accused in a series of street robberies and a kidnapping in the Tempe area.

The crimes allegedly occurred between Sept. 28 and Oct. 1.

Tempe police say 20-year-old Walter Lee Kimble, 18-year-old Tykel Javante Hunter and 18-year-old Cody Pete are being held in suspicion of armed robbery, aggravated robbery, kidnapping, aggravated assault and participating/assisting in a criminal syndicate.

They say Kimble also is facing a charge of misconduct involving weapons.

A 16-year-old suspect faces a charge of marijuana possession.

The suspects allegedly forced a 26-year-old man into their vehicle in Tempe on Sept. 28, drove him to an ATM and forced him to withdraw money from his bank account at gunpoint.

The four also are suspected in four robberies in Chandler and Gilbert.
