OGDEN, Utah (AP) - Authorities say a 6-year-old is critically injured after being hit by a car while crossing a street in Ogden with an older child at night.

Police say the incident happened about 8 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of 35th Street and Harrison Boulevard.

Investigators say the child was crossing the street in a marked crosswalk with a 13-year-old before being hit by a Kia Sorento.

The child was taken to the hospital.

Police say they haven’t issued any citations in the case.
