MOSS POINT, Miss. (AP) - Moss Point police say the Jackson County Sheriff’s Flotilla has recovered the body of a Lucedale man who was seen Sunday morning jumping off the Mississippi 613 bridge.

Interim Police Chief Art McClung tells The Sun Herald (https://bit.ly/1u8vJLb ) the 56-year-old man’s body was found in the Escatawpa River about 6 p.m. Wednesday, a few hundred feet of the 613 bridge.

McClung says three witnesses saw the man jump from the bridge Sunday. He says the death is being treated as a suicide.
