HAMILTON, Ala. (AP) - A customer care provider has announced plans to expand its call center in northwestern Alabama.

The TimesDaily reported Thursday (https://bit.ly/1nr9Z03 ) that Nashville, Tennessee-based Sitel is planning to create 300 jobs when it expands its call center in Hamilton - which is about 55 miles south of Florence.

Site director John Thomas and Democratic Sen. Roger Bedford of Russellville say they’re excited about the call center’s growth.
