ATLANTA (AP) - Emory University officials say representatives from the Federal Elections Commission are planning a public discussion at the university’s law school.

Officials say FEC Vice Chair Ann Ravel is scheduled to lead a discussion Oct. 23 titled “The Future of Elections and Democracy.”

Emory officials say Ravel has traveled the country to hear from Americans about how they feel about the state of elections and campaign finance.

The event is scheduled for 6 p.m. in the Emory University School of Law Tull Auditorium. The event is free and open to the public.
